I've cleaned and had lunch with a buddy. I consider this being productive. I'm on board with your philosophy regarding work. ha! In fact, I'm at the cross roads right now. I'm not sure what's bothering me most right now....the need to be professional and give a two weeks notice or just not showing up going forward.

I quit past jobs simillar to how you did. I just don't want the man upstairs to punish me with karma, because I'm not doing this to be mean, but just trying to not waste anymore time. I'm not above work, I just need a flexible schedule and don't see the need to have hours of operation everyday of the week from 9-5, in which face time is rewarded and riding the clock is the new competitive realm to live in. I'm faster, smarter, and have better things to do. That's why when I go into the office, I get shit done, I don't eat lunch, I don't play on the internet, and I don't want to hear about someone's boring ass life and their regrets, only to sit down at thier desk at 5:00, work until 1 a.m. and tell everyone the following day about how hard they work.

My favorite part of your blog:

I filled out the application with ease, turned it in and then got an onsight tour of the place which ended with the night manager going over the job description and then explaining the work culture with statements like, "Yeah, we're pretty relaxed here. I mean you can cuss if you want to. I say shit several times a day." I should have replied with a "Fuck yeah!" I got the job.

I think what I loved most about this, in addition to laughing was that I'm the person who would have said it. That isn't always good... :)

M comments on Returning a Phone Call

Okay now I try to respond to all of my texts in a timely manner, but SHIT!!! It takes too damn long, but you are right and I do feel guilty when I can't reply sooner rather than later. However, I think I've just figured out a solution to my guilt of not replying,I will inform everyone that if they just recieve some random number, alphabet, or character that it's code from me, meaning that I just don't have time to text right now for whatever reason, but that typing just that takes too long. :)

Going to bed now. I've enjoyed reading your blogs. They crack me up and your videos rock as well. I don't get to watch tv much, but should I see you acting out skits or giving an acceptance speech for writing, it will not surprise me.

M comments on Dating a Non Believer

I see your point. This topic frustrates me as well but from the other side. In short, how can people carry on about there being no God and poop on those who believe without having read the Bible themselves?

Oh yeah, free will.

I mean there are foods and drinks I've never tasted or drank, yet based on how it looks, smells, and feels, I don't assume it tastes like ass and that anyone wishing to taste the shit is fucking crazy without having tried it out. Then again, I like to educate myself before forming an opinion.

M comments on Small Tidbits

I don't know what to fucking think...that picture is just strange. Yet since I'm partaking in the WWJD movement (before you laugh at it, meditate on it) I'm going to express two versions.

Version1:Christ reply. No judgement. Therefore no comment.

Version2: Lost reply: It's gross and must have been used during the lowest slump in our economy for magazine companies and they needed a shock factor to generate sales, hence the photo and age, but they should have went further..missing teeth and a huge smie???
